The CIA Introduction was conducted on 1 March 1956, for an audience of 76 CIA employees. b. Audience evaluation: Far above the average of the recent months. c. Attached is a detailed breakdown of those in attendance. e r Chief, Inspection and Review, DD/P to "lead off" and participate" in a very important briefing for Commissioner C. W. Harvison of Canada. ntation and Briefing was requested by i Chi f O Chief, Orientation and Briefing received oral and written details about this undertaking. The briefing was conducted on Monday, 5 March 1956, from 0940 to 1230 hours. Chief Orientation and Briefing made his presentation from 0940 to 1000 and then participated in the discussions which followed the subsequent briefing. 3. Working with the Training Officer, DD/P, Chief, Orientation and Briefing cancelled the CIA Review which was scheduled for Tuesday, 28 February 1956, since too few had been scheduled for the program. Those who were on the list for that day will be included in the list for 27 March 1956. 1.. On Wednesday, 29 February 1956, Chief Orientation and Briefing lectured at the Strategic Intelligence School to a very alert class. Chief, Orientation and Briefing used a question first technique followed by the use of the new visual aid. 5. One of the tangential benefits of the S!~S presentation was the offer by an Air r'orce officer to Chief, Orientation and Briefing of the negatives of a desk of Soviet Anti-Religious playing cards. The DD I (himself an Air Force Officer) is very interested in those items. The Chief, Orientation and Briefing will discuss those 25X1 with Chief, P & P, DD/P 25X1 6. Though who had done so well on the Dependents' Briefing has accepted teaching position with the State of Maryland, She indicated that her schedule may permit her to participate in these programs* She will know this week..
