Attendance of Legislative Counsel at
Weekly DD/S Staff Meetings.
1. The Legislative Counsel has as a matter of practice
sat in on my weekly DD /S Staff Meeting, which comprises the
heads of the offices within DD/S. He informs me that these
meetings are of considerable value to him in keeping abreast
of the administrative problems of the Agency. In addition, his
presence has been helpful as a source of briefings at the meet-
ings on the status of various bills and other Congressional
matters of general interest to those present.
2. I would like to extend an invitation to you to have Mr.
attend these meetings in his capacity as Legisla-
tive Counsel on the same basis. The meetings are held every
Wednesday at 11:00 o'clock in the DD/S Conference Room.
