1. The attached letter is submitted for the signature of
the DCI.
2. The Commission on Government Security was created
by P. L. 304, 84th Congress. Its function is to recommend a
Government program for improving the protection of the
national security, including the safeguarding of national
defense secrets, etc. The membership list of the Commission
is as follows:
