84TH CONGRESS 1ST SESSION S. 2365 IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES JUNE 29, 1955 Mr. SIIATE(ERS (for Mr. KENNEDY) jilt minced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Government Operations A BILL Extending the authority of the General Services Administration with respect to warehouses and other storage facilities oper- ated by civilian agencies of the Government. 1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 3 That the General Services Administration shall exercise, 4 either directly or in such other manner as the Administrator 5 of General Services may prescribe, all functions heretofore 6 exercised by each civilian agency of the Government with 7 respect to the operation and management of warehouses and 8 other storage facilities. 9 SEC. 2. There are hereby transferred to the General 10 Services Administration such property, records, personnel, Approved For Release 2000108125: CIA-RDP59-00224A0001001700124 2 1 and unexpended balances of appropriations, authorizations, 2 allocations, or other funds, held, employed, or available, or 3 to be made available, as the Director of the Bureau of the 4 Budget shall determine to be primarily related to, and nec- 5 essary for, the exercise of the functions to be exercised by 6 the General Services Administration as provided in this Act. 7 SEC. 3. All laws and parts of laws inconsistent with 8 the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed. 9 Si:c. 4. This Act shall take effect on the day after 10 the date of its enactment. V a ti ~' H ^ CJ
