To amend the Armed Services Procurement Act of 1947.
1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f I~e~resenta-
2 tines o f the United States o f America in Congress assembled,
3 That section 2 (c) (1) of the Act of February 19, 1J48
4 (62 Stat. 21) , is hereby amended to read as follows : " (1)
5 determined to be necessary in the public interest during the
6 period of national emergency declared by the Congress;".
