ing on proposed CIA legislation attended by the j)/S, Assistant

and the undersigned. It was the c ances svs of this group that the pro
payment of schooling allawantes ti the children of foreign
national employees of your Office could be handled internally withoat
the need for special legislation.
It was felt that appropriate a tjustments could be male in tl
contract wages of such employees to cover the cost of such schoolini
and that this figure coul-.l be varit I in accordance with the amber f

For this reason it was detex acne not to seek legislation to
accomplish this purpose, but to suggest that it be diiscusse i by your
Office with the appropriate Agency official in order to work out any
necessary details.
