Basic Gomoensation
1. The Bill named above, which you referred to this
office for comment as to whether it is of interest to Agency
activities, has been reviewed. If enacted, this bill would
eliminate the present 25;t statutory limitations on territorial
cost-of-living allowances in warranted cases.
2. We believe that enactment of this amendment is
desirable from a personnel point of view and recommend that
the Agency support the bill.
