I discussed with Qeneral Cabell the background of the
copyright clause in th contract, and he was quite
satisfied on the basis that the Government's rights were
fully protected and we were in full control of copyright
applications. I also talked to Mr. 25X1A9A
OIC, and suggested that in the contract now be ng negotiated
we specifically state that applications for copyright
must be submitted in advance to the Agency for security
clearance. This should not be objectionable torfln
and, in fact, is for their own protection.
