MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Central Intelligence
SUBJECT : Medal of Freedom
The Director of Central Intelligence is hereby authorized
to award the Medal of Freedom in accordance with the criteria
outlined in Executive Order 10336, dated 3 April 1952. Such
award shall be made under regulations prescribed by the Director
of Central Intelligence which shall be, so far as practicable,
uniform with the regulations prescribed by the departments
named in paragraph 5 of the said Executive Order.
