BRIEF DESCRIPTION Agency Bus had stopped at Gate 15 in the rear of K Bldg to Discharge passengers .
As it started to move forward, a taxicab which was passing Bus on left side with wheels
on grassy plot, cut in front of Bus and the left end of front bumper of the Bus collided
with rear right door of taxicab.

8. POLICE INVESTIGATION
SHOW ARRESTS, AND ATTACH COPY OF POLICE REPORT, IF ANY, AND RESULTS OF ANY TRIALS BY CIVIL OR MILITARY COURTS
Pvt. P.J. Daniel, U.S. Park Police arranged a hearing before Corporation Counsel, who
after questioning both drivers, did not hold either driver as being in violation of
local ordinances and dismissed the case.

Although Corporation Counsel did not hold either driver guilty of a violation, individuals
who park on grass receive parking violation tickets from Park Police. The possibility
that Pondexter did not take all the necessary precautions before starting to move
forward is not consider sufficient to hold him responsible for the accident.
