1. Robert W. mart, Moue Committee on Armed Services,
confirmed the time at 10 a. m., Wednesday, 30 July, for the nectar's
appearance before the Committee. He stated the Cacandttse wanted
its regular briefing as the status of the world and would certainly be
interested is all possible infosmaution on Iraq. Mr. Kirkpatrick and
Mr. Sheldon are preparing the briefing papers.
2. The Director's Office notified Legislative Counsel that the
time for the Director's appearance before the !?eesate isn Relttims
Committee was set for 10:30 a.m.. Tuesday, 29 July. Mr Kirkpatrick
ha`~'cerrnpitsd the briefing papers on the Iraq situation.
