The following categories of materials are received by D/ from the Department of State through OLI/M: a. State Department Despatches (1) Economic reports (a Agricultural reports -- individual crops (b Transportation roads, railroads, inland waterways; if action assigned to CLI/R (c) Statistical reports on various subjects: industry, population, progress reports Boundary reports Political reports Territorial changes Administrative area changes over sheets on transmittals of maps, Nooks, etc., that do not Come through QLI/P b. Army, Navy and Air Attache reports 1) Boundary changes 2) Transportation - road. logs, rail, road terrain, etc. (3) Airfield data (14.) Port and ship data (5 Excellent source for extra copies of Far East town plans (6) Amphibious and coastal studies of Navy (7) order of battle and air information (8) Roehi and Riku reports of Army for Far East area (9) Usually receive copies of all cover sheets trans- mitting maps, etc. 2. "Hard copy" materials such as Staffs Department Bulletin., UN publications containing maps and charts or dealing with cartography may also sometimes c to D/GC through the OLI/M channel. 3. Both B/GG and D/GC desire to continue receipt of the above-cited categories of materials through OLI/M. Duplicate receipt of these materials through other channels is not suffIcient to constitute a problem.
