3. Status of Personnel Report
Chief/G gave the group some figures on T/O and number of people on
duty from 'the latest Status of Personnel Report for ORR.
4. SAC Briefing
1. Security During Holiday Period
Chief/G directed the attention of the group to the recent ORR
Notice on "Holiday Leave and Security" (Notice R25-57). As stated in
the notice, approximately 25% of security violations within the last
two fiscal years occurred during the Christmas holiday seasons of 1955
and 1956. The group was reminded that we have to be especially careful
of security practices during this season, as well as insure. that
sufficient coverage (at least 50%) is afforded all operations within
the divisions.
2. Security Check Responsibility

no longer has the responsibility for after-hours spot checks of offices,

7. Distribution of Maps by Special Support Branch, D/GC
Chief, D/GL mentioned that it has recently come to his attention
that many maps produced by the Special Support Branch of D/GC are not
made available to the Ma Librar , but are distributed directly by
D/GC's Support Branch. questioned this procedure, and indi-
cated that he thought the Map Library should receive at least an
information copy of those maps whose security classification would so
permit. This was discussed by the group, and indicated he

to Chiefs, D/GC, and. D/GG. suggested that D/GL might consider
doing the same sort of project on Poland, as it would tie in very well
with a "trial run" NIS Annual which is to be done on Poland.
