1. Fitness Report
reported that no opportunity was given ORR to
present the comments on the present Fitness Report form which were
made at the previous Geographic Area staff meeting. Some of the
changes already agreed upon by Management Staff will, however,
parallel Geographic Area conclusions, and most of them constitute
real improvement.
2. Training Requirements
A review of training requirements for the 4th quarter of FY 1957
and all of FY 195?3 has been requested by St/A for transmission to OTR.
Individual division reports will be submitted to Acting Chief/G by
COB, 14 March. Only area and language training requirements will be
covered.

review the case in point and re-examine the over-all basis for selection
that is followed by D/GL.
5. Geodesy and the IGY

is presently participating in an informal, inter-agency
committee concerned with geodetic intelligence aspects of the IGY. In
this context, inquired after a State Department cable which
requests guidance on the display of geodetic equipment in Bucharest. The
matter will be taken up directly with D/GL, the apparent recipient of
CIA's copy.

Information Control Section in its present form. will review
