1957
1. A meeting of the NIS Chapter IX Subcommittee was held on 14 October
1.957 for the purpose of adjusting the forecasts for FYs 1960 and 1961 to
incorporate the NIS Committee prof>osals for the maintenance of Chapter IX
of NIS 26. The following, were present:

2. Excerpts from the minutes of FIS Ceomittee Meetings 250 and 251 that
concerned Chapter IX maintenance for NIS 26 had been distributed to Chapter
Subcommittee members for study prior to the meeting.
3. The Chapter IX Coordinator suggested that the forecasts for FYs 1960
and 1961 originally agreed upon by the Chapter IX Subcomaitte . be adjusted
as follows to conform with NIS Ccmittee proposals for NIS 26.
a. Include NIS 26"`, Parts ;1-III, on the FY 1961 forecast.
b. Move NIS 97, NIS 50B, and NIS 89 from PT 1961 to FY 1960 to
replace the parts of NIS 26originally an the Chapter IX Subcommittee
forecast for FY 1960.
c. Revise the FT 1961 forecast to include only NIS 103, NIS 5C NIS
13AM9 and the three Parts or NIS 269 (which will be credited as
five studies).
