SIGNIFICANT ITE Docurez?t NO., 1,0 Date: 0 1. This school started the Anti-Communist operations course with ten registrants on 2 September. Although some of the recent registrants who were unearthed as the result of personal contact with divisions of DDP did not have all the required formal training, they did appear to have sufficient background to make the course worthwhile. The plan to use a guest lect urer from the FBI is still under consideration although it does not look like he will be available in Washington dux' the running of this course W h . e ave also been informed by C of the ICD Staff, that the particular lect urer from the Bureau would be better scheduled for the Party Organization and Operations course than for the Anti-Communist operations course. In any event he appears to be a most knowledgeable individual on the substantive side and one whom it will pay the Agency to bring in on a regular basis. 2. This school started its participation in the Moscow-Peking Axis course on 3 September. The group appears to be extremely alert and interested, and as a result many questions and discussions took place during the first session. Ii.
