UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT : Chief, Intelligence School FROM : Chief, Orientation Faculty, IS SUBJECT: Weekly Activities Report #25, 18 - 24 June 1958 1. OCI Briefing DATE: 24 June 1958 Approximately 225 Agency personnel attended the first of a series of Current Intelligence Briefings on Friday, 20 June. This program was set up as a result of two employee su estions and presented byl of OCI. spoke on 25 current developments in the tBSR, France, Cyprus, the Near East and Indonesia. The excellent turnout seems to indicate a keen interest in this type of program. Another CI briefing has been scheduled for Friday, 27 June at 12:40 and it is hoped eventually to make this a weekly affair if the interest continues. 3. Exhibits A record number of visitors is scheduled to attend the Intelligence Products Exhibit on 26 June. ONI is sending a contingent of more than 50 Naval Intelligence Officers, ACSI (Army) has scheduled 23, and State Department 13. Smaller groups are also coming from Air Force, USIA and AEC. 2. Intelligence Orientation A. 10 #22 is now in its second week. The Production and Collection phases of the course are completed, and the remainder of the week will be devoted to Support, Operations and the two exhibits. Special Briefings 25X1 is continuing in his additional role as alter ego 25X1 for while the latter is on leave.- On 23 June he conducted the SOD Orientation for new employees, and on Tuesday, 24 June he lectured on "US Intelligence Organization" at the Anacostia Naval Air Station, to a group of Naval Officers. 6. Housekeeping Items 25X1 A. I has arranged for all the desks to be removed from W Auditorium on 7 July for refinishing.
