briefed a visiting foreign intelligence officer on the
missions and functions of the DD/I area and on research
and analysis techniques and practices. Mr.O pre-
pared?the schedule for the briefings.
Be On Wednesday, 22 October, Dr. 0 lectured to
the 1.0. class. His subject was "Production of Intelligence."
C. On Thursday, 16 October, Mr. 0 accompanied by
Miss and four students who recently
completed Intelligence Research (Maps) No. 9, visited the
Army Map Service and observed the map-making facilities.
The guided tour included the Cartographic, Photogrammetry,
and Reproduction Divisions.
D. On Friday, 17 October, Dr discussed the
proposed training catalogs for R Registers with Mrs,
