Memo for Chief of Operations, from Director of
Training, subject: Interim Training of Pro-
visionally Cleared Personnel, dated 13 November 1952
1. There is no objection to the proposal contained in reference
memorandum to conduct the training of all provisionally cleared per-
sonnel, both overt and covert, in a single building, provided that:
a. There is physical separation in separate classroom
areas, and
b. Training is conducted in a building which is solely
occupied and controlled by CIA.
2. You will be informed of any particularly sensitive cases
requiring special handling.
3. You are hereby authorized to disregard the memorandum on
the above subject dated 1L. November 1952 and signed by DD/P
recommending against the proposed consolidation.
