1. With the receipt of quotas to the Armed Forces Staff
College, CIA now has authority to send career officers to all
teen De Defense colleges and schools listed in CIA

Weapons Orientation Courses (Atomic) to be conducted April -
December this year at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Under
this arrangement only one or two CIA personnel will be away at
a given time and each person will take only one five-day course.
Both civilian Agency personnel and Air Force officers on daty at
CIA are eligible to attend. Selection has been initiated.
Members of the Office of Training staff briefed CIA
personnel recruiters on our training operations and requirements.
These briefings will be repeated next week and the week after for
other CIA personnel recruiters.
5. Chief, Orientation and Briefing Division conducted a
special course for I&8 field personnel on "Security Responsibili-
ties and their Relationship to the Functions of CIA."
