1. Management studies of various phases of the ORR organization
which were undertaken at my request by members of your staff have
been received and are currently undergoing careful review and
analysis toward the nd_,of effecting implementation where appropriate.
2. Changes are currently under way among some of the key
personnel in those units examined, and it is planned to make the
studies available to the new supervisors concerned as a guide to
their future operations and planning.
3. Over the next fifteen months this Office will be under-
taking its 1953-54 research program. It is hoped that, when requested,
you will from time to time make available to ORR the services of
your examiners.
