6. Bill Fisher. Bureau of the Budget, indicated In respease to
our questions that the Bureau did not wish to call & meeting of interested
Agency repreeentatives to discuss their positions with respect to the
draft Executive Order concerning the e3cchattitals.,intitiatOrilatioa...
Ile also indicated that the Bureau would discourage us &Qua calling such
a meeting. He added that there was still a chance that the Order could
be finalised before the 22 October deadline but he could give us no
assurances that this would be dm case. A separate authorisatiou to cover
the Joint iatelligence confaureace on the 23 October is new being drafted.
