Mr. We al. sr. and Mr. Vaace of the Johns:ea Subromna this
staff bad lunch with the Director ea Sunday, 1 Deceialrer11157. Also
present were: M,esers. Scoville. Stoorts and Warner. The discussion
was pleasant and of a general *atom. Mr. Weld had one suggestion
on the preposed letter which the Director had prepared going to
Senator jeltason dealt** with public disclesure of certain of the CIA
tostimeay. We were advised that the Subcastmittee staff would be in
touch with us ea the question of delivery of the corrected transcript.
In the meantime, a umber of represeatatives from Defense have been
afforded the opportunity to review the transcript. (See neemoranduni

Discussed with the DCI the somewhat critical aientoraadusa from
Osage SMIRILILl Ashley concerning RFZ. He was informed that Ceti Meyer

The DM agreed with this procedure.
Mr. Saunders galled with reference to Duress of the budget
Circular No. 51-3 dated 15 November 19S7 whisk (*seemed legislative
proposals for developing equitable gavermsent fees for services. I
Informed Mr. Saunders that I knew of none in this Agency *or did he.
No settee, therefore is required.
