1. Topics from OAD Staff Meetings
a. "Outplacement"
Office of Personnel now provides assistance in locating new
employment for personnel who have been separated at the convenience
of the Agency. By this activity, the Agency is seeking to neutralize
the handicap which security places on such people.

This will be held in late November, Ch/G and Ch/E (among others)
to attend. Chief, D/GL will need to brief AD/CR beforehand on the foreign
map procurement program, since AD/CR is to present a formal briefing on
intelligence procurement activities at the Conference.
c. Budget
St/A states that the FY 1960 GRA budget was "the best yet;" i.e.,
it caused St/A the least amount of trouble.
d. Spanish Returnee Program
Action is underway to secure DD/P approval for assignment of
an ERA type to this program. A TDY by a GRA type is anticipated subsequently.
The IAC is about to be combined with USCIB to produce a new, complete,
intelligence coordinating group to be known as United States Intelligence
Board (USIB).

This division became independent of ORR as of 4 August 1958. The
unit will continue to operate under the DD/I, probably with the name,
Phojnlligence Center.

letter commenting on the Iraqi coup has received wide
distribution in the Agency.
3. GSA Visitors to Auditor l A9a
, with assistance, will host on Wednesday
a tour of the Auditorium by Public Buildings personnel.
4. Fixed-Quota Schools
Nominations are due 6 August. Recommendations, if any, will be given
to Acting Ch/G/RR prior to that time.
5. AAG Trip
All personnel selected to travel on the Agency aircraft will attend
a briefing session in 1121 "M" Building at 1030 a.m., 11 August 1958.

*6. Emergency Team
The group discussed, anti in general approved a proposal to modify
and enlarge the existin GRA Emergency Team. A new listing will be
submitted to on 7 August 1958.
