National Science Foundation Translations
DATE: 1 October 1958
1. The National Science Foundation has acquired funds for
the translation of selected documents in the languages of the
Sino-Soviet Bloc and in Japanese. The funds are to be expended
on documents for which there is an attested need and which have
not yet been translated. It is intended to concentrate during the
remainder of FY 1959 on those documents published in 1955 or earlier.
Selected documents published in 1956 or later will be handled during
FY 1960.
2. Please notify me by 1000, 3 October, whether your division
wishes to propose documents for NSF translation. Include full
bibliographic description and the possible location of a work copy.
