War and Emergency Planning Lam= DATE: 4 June 1959 The DTR war and emergency planning paper was disseminated to the Schools and Staffs. In addition, all Chiefs were contacted with an offer of PPS assistance in the implementation of their planning. Reactions to date are: likes the idea; will 25X1 postpone action until return. Agency Briefings of the Service Schools Statistics have been collected on the over-all Agency briefings of the service schools. Agency Budget Programs in the procedure of reviewing the Agency budget programs. In the future the DD/P programs will be approved by DD/P first. Then they will be sent to DD/S for comment. We were asked to return the called on 29 May to state there will be a change Africa Division Program without comment. 7. Qualified Clearances for JOT Candidates PPS advised that we are having some difficulties with the Medical Office in securing qualified clearances for JOT candidates. C/JOTP was advised that DTR has no objection to his conducting discussions with Dr. Tietjen in an attempt to resolve the problem. 8. Princeton Summer Internees The ase e i the 25X1 was coordinated with 25X1 and the Office of Security. 0 entered on duty on schedule. Material for Support Bulletin I should have mentioned that in my briefing with 25X1 he stated he is depending heavily on for his Suppc25X1 Bulletin material. He seems to feel that QTR can make a greater con- tribution than it has to this Bulletin. 10. Training Annex to the GIAPAC GEOP The training annex to the CIAPAC GEOP, May 1959, was reviewed.
