SIGNIFICA-iT ITS None to report. D. OTHER ACTIVITI. S 1. Eleven people have been signed up for the December running of the ICE. All lecturers and panelists have been signed up, Dick Helms has promised to open the course for us with a Grief introduction on Monday, 7 December and we are prepared for a solid and constructive presentation. 2. ~ has been invited to participate in a s?fmposium on the new Japanese Constitution at the annual meeting of the Association for Asian Studies in New York in April, 1960. 3. The Tagalog test was received from the printer - a beautiful job. This is the first test done by offset printing in the new smaller format. 4. Sixty-three people reported for written proficiency tests last week in Chinese, Czech, French, German, Greek, Portuguese and Spanish. 5. Thirty-three orals were given in Chinese, French, German, Greek, Russian, Spanish and Swedish this past week* b.
