SIGNIFICANT ITEMS None to report B. OTHER ACTIVITIES 1. Forty seven people reported for written proficiency tests in Czech, French, German and Persian. 2. Forty-six orals were given this past week in Czech, French, Italian, Hungarian and Portuguese. 3. Eighty certifications for language award certificates were sent to the Registrar. 4. went out to DOB on 4 November to brief two contract agents on the construction of tests. They will construct tests in Estonian and Russian as part of their regular duties, i. e. at no cost to OTR. While Estonian is not yet on the list of languages approved for awards, a test will eventually be needed, and this seemed like a good opportunity to get one. has also been working on a Russian test; in the long run it is hoped to have on hand not less than six different Russian tests. 5.
