1. C/PPS and I have discussed one practical -procedure for
e an ding the AAO program in view of response to
D TTR'a memo on area training. We would continue to wo
with the divisions, while C/PPS would help in alerting
to our difficulties and general progress. I regret, however, the
apparent decision not to press for a DDP policy which would place
these courses on a "strongly recommended" basis for at least all
first-time non-professionals and dependents.
