1. SHAPES liars requested that the IAC reconsider its decision
not to release conclusions of Watch Committee Reports to SHAPE and
SACLANT headquarters (see references A. and B for the IAC action
on SHAPE's original request, and Tabs A and B regarding SHAPE's
request that the IAC reconsider this decision).
2. The Secretary, IAC, referred SHAPE's request for re-
consideration to the Watch Committee. The recommendation of the
Watch Committee is attached as Tab C.

3. The proposed reply of the IAC to SHAPE concerning the
request for reconsideration of the earlier IAC action is attached
as Tab D. This reply will be transmitted by G-2 as executive agent.
4. Please telephone your concurrence (or comments) in
this matter to the Secretary by the close of 25X1
