MEMORANDUM FOR THE INTELLIGENCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
SUBJECT: Study, of Elapsed Times in Delivery of Significant
Intelligence Items
1. I have been requested by Gen. Goodpaster to prepare a
study of elapsed times involved in passing significant intelligence items.
The project will be conducted on an all-source basis.
2. It is requested that IAC members consider the attached
terms of reference for a group to undertake this task. It is anticipated
that a report should be prepared for the White House on this subject
by about I January 1958.
