MEMORANDUM FOR: Chief, Management Staff
SUBJECT : The Report to the President t8 Board of Consultants
on Foreign Intelligence Activities
1. This will confirm my conversation with your secretary
regarding the submission of the Management Staff portion of
subject report.
2. The period to be covered is 1 April to 30 September 1958.
There is no change in the type of information to be submitted,
however, an effort is being made to reduce the size of the consolidated
report which is to be sent to the Board. For this reason, please
reduce the length of your report to apprcudmately seventy-five per cent
of that covering the November 1957 to March 1958.
3. I would very much appreciate it if your material could be
forwarded to this office, 2038 L Bldg., by 7 October 1958.
