1. Accomplishments:
a. Branch Projects Submitted
(1) CIA/PR IP 574-S-1 (Project 37.2024), "Estimated Soviet
ICBM Production Capabilities", was submitted to the
GMIC on 9 November, for inclusion as the CIA position
in the GMIC draft of SNIE 11-10-57, "The Soviet ICBM
Program" forwarded to ONE, 12 November.
(2) CIA/PR IP 574-S-2 (Project 37.2024), "Soviet ICBM
Production and Deployment Capabilities", was prepared
at the request of ONE for use as the basis for ONE
draft of production and deployment portion of SNIE
11-10-57?
b. Other Projects Submitted -- None
c. Special Research -- 10 hours
d. Other
(1) Continuing support was provided ONE in its preparation
of the production and deployment sections of the ONE
draft of SNIE 11-10-57.
(2) Provided detailed support for a DD/P project pursuant
to IAC-D-81/15.
(3) Branch support was provided for 5 regular or special
meetings of the Guided Missile Intelligence Committee
(GMIC).
(4) Branch support was provided for 3 regular or special
meetings of the GMIC Subcommittee for Guidance to
Collectors.

(5) A staff study was prepared by the branch proposing
enlargement of the ORR effort on the Soviet guided
missile program.

4-6 and 14th-20th, to provide consultation and support
to a special GMIC project and to discuss the ORR con-
tribution to SNIE 11-10-57.

Los Angeles, November 11-13, to discuss the CIA position on
SNIE 11-10-57 with leading officers of Corporations engaged
in the US guided missile program.
