suBJECr: Rehearsal for Soviet Tushino Air Day Show
1. The fifth Tushino rehearsal took place on 8 June. A large
unidentified swept-wing aircraft which appeared somewhat larger than
BADGER and may have been a new jet transport was observed. The
number of engines on this aircraft was not determined.
2. Other aircraft appearing over Tushino were as follows:
5 BISON
1 BEAR
4 BADGER
2 BEAGLE
46 FARMER
-18 FLASHLIGHT
4 FRESCO
4 FRITZ
72 HOUND
11 MAX
3 COLT
37 COACH
6 Unidentified Fighters (Probably FARMERS)
3. The fifth rehearsal involved a minimum of 214 aircraft but
the military portion was limited mainly to formation leaders.
4. The Soviet press has announced that an ejection demonstration
will be given during the show.
