Construction I'ro~ress on Han~,chow-Nin~po Railroad
The Ch-Inese Communists in a 26 June broadcast from Shanghai announced
completion of construction of the Hangchow-Tsao~o section o~ the Hangchamr-
Ni.ngpo rail Line and stated that it vuould be formally opened to traffics on
1 July. 11. This announcement confirms a recent secret report of reconstruc-
tion work on this strategically important rail lines v~.ich 3f completed wi7.l
provide rail service to the Nirigpo Jet base.
