S/CST
The Construction Branch is responsible for producing all-
source economic intelligence on the construction of fixed in-
stallations and the production of construction materials within
the Soviet Bloc, for contributing to the coordination of such
intelligence production within the U. S. Government, and for
contributing, within its field of responsibility, to national
estimates. The scope of responsibility includes generally con-
struction costs, methods, capabilities, material and design
standards of constructed fixed installations.
