The Cc nittee dealt with some problems connected with NIE 10.16 4,
"Stability and Cohesion of the Soviet Satellite Structure." Develop-
ments in economic coordination, industrialization, and trade within
the Bloc were discussed within the context of the NSE.

At its next meeting, the Committee will continue discussion of
NIE 1Q.16L4. In addition, of St/I will talk about the
possibility of having FDD translators for the Satellite languages
available on certain days in "M" Building, Members of the Committee
25X1 A9a should be prepared to discuss with Mr. - their own regq.irements
and needs for these translators. This meeting will be at 1:30 PM on
Wednesday, 21i October 1956 in room 1121 M.
On October 26 at 11:00, the Committee will meet in 1121 M for a
discussion of recent developments in Poland with respect to NIE 10.164h.
