It is my belief that this kind of contact' cc 'e the persouel and professional approach, could be inweaulbie as a means of strengthening the respect which many pro- in the academic community holdibr the professionals and reeeereb product of BHA. By this means the recruiting of promising and qualified graduate economists probably could be made much easier. /n a roundtable discussion of the market for economists I was t the Agency lost an excellent opportunity to have one tives speak to the discussants concerning the Agency desires and its needs in securing additional economic research. over, the arrangement of the ble may have been infbrmal so that there was no representative vould be called upon.
