StJ~1JECT Attached Guided 1-d~issile Report
1, Whereas I doubt you will care to read the attached engineering
report prepared by ~- group of conaultants under the Guided missile Intetli-
gence Committee, i think you would be interested ire ecar~ning it. I have
attached some clips and made some red marks at points which may be of
special interest to you.
2. I believe you knew that the preparation of this report was
carried out in HTA'tdTC)MAT by close cooperation on a daily basis between
HTAt17"Q~1A~`~ Army, and Navy PIs and the engineering group as well as
sp~scialists frarrs tha scientific eleaxsents of the Agency. Lamy of those
participating and observing this performance feel that thin has been an
exceptionally sensible way to get the maximum benefit out of the study.
3. Whereas there is always room far near and imaginative ideas
in exploitation of T.4.L.EI+iT material, I personally believe that you can
take considerable satisfaction in the fact that by and large there has been
a very sensible anal aggressive effort throughout the community to fatly
exploit ~'AL~N'T photography. Certainly there should be no less than
this in view of the efforts required to get it.
