SUGGESTED PROCEDURE FOR HANDLING DELETIONS TO TARGET LISTINGS 18 Nov. 1957 At the time the plots for a given mission are completed, the OCR Element of HTA will take the following steps: 1 - Record the coordinates of the coverage made good, excluding all cloud covered areas or partially covered areas, etc. 2 - Punch these coordinates into machine tabulating cards (IBM). 3 - Match these IBM cards with the master deck of IBM cards containing low-priority targets (identified in the existing Target Listings as Z-l, Z-2 and Z-3 priority targets) 4 - Matching cards will be listed and copies of this listing will be disseminated to all ARC members for deletion consideration.' 5 - At a subsequent ARC meeting these deletions will be discussed. Any targets which are felt must remain in the Target Listings must be justified before the ARC. 6 - A special listing of these deletions will be prepared for the Director of Operations, Project Headquarters to aid in mission planning.
