This is to confirm our phone conversation of this afternoon.

2. 1 reported to you that it was my understanding that Mr. Bissell
had approved for & RAINBOW clearance the following personnel in OSI:
but that I would
ask Mr. Bissell's secretary to confirm this understanding. She has
agreed to do that.
3. 1 reported also that Mr. Bissell had approved two people in
ONI to be briefed for RAINBOW. Captain Weber of ONI has informed
me that these two people are Comdr. D. M. Showers and Lt. Comdr.
C. B. Stevenson.
4. I also reported that this morning Mr. Bissell approved two
