Your request in reference A is hereby approved.
2. Your request in reference 8 is hereby approved. It is m y
understanding, from oral discussion with Commanders Larsen and
Moitoret, that the reason a number of the slots in this request are needed
a give a briefing using TALENT materials in order to persuade these
data for financial and procurement support of a Navy-sponsored
program using ACUATONE-type equipment.
3. Whereas this appears to be a reasonable justification for
ice on a one-time basis, it would not appear that they have a
continuing need for TALENT materials. I mention this only to
that it is my understanding that the Navy is mindful of the MUST
r principle which must be strictly applied in these cases which
omewbat marginal.
