The ARC agreed that there were no ur ent requirements for coverage of Y.owever, of the Office of Current Intelligence called attention to the tension in the area and pointed to the fact that there is no collection available to keep abreast of developments on the critical airfields in where one would expect indications of hostile intent. He referred to the ~Tatch Committee?s views on this matter in support of the concern of his Office that periodic checking of these airfields would be in order. He recognized, he said, that if General Cabell, as Chairman of the Watch Committee, felt that certain situations warranted action, such as require- ments, it would be done. 25X1X4 3. Highest Priority Requirements 5. In the course of the review of highest priority requirements, it was agreed that the Air Force would present to a working group on Monday, 15 December, in the office of the Chairman, an opening statement for the new paper on highest priority requirements and that each agency would have available the specific list of targets which it believed should be included. Further steps in the development of a new paper on priority requirements would be determined in the course of that discussion.
