2. JUSTIFICATION:- Periodic reports have been received concerning
uranium mining activities from a point near PIROT 43 14N 22 35E Northeast
along the Yugoslavia-Bulgaria Border. Reports of heavy highway construction
along the major land routes from Hungary across Yugoslavia into Italy proves
to be a great concern of major oversea commanders. This entire border area
is subject to restriction as to travel by both attaches and visitors.
