MEMORANDUM FOR: Attention: MrNT Jarues INTELLIGENCE
Subject: Request for Approval of TALENT Billet (C)
1. It is requested. that the follrrwing-listed position
be approved as JCS/OSD TALENT billet: Administrative Assistant
.to.the TALENT Control Officer, JCS/OSD (Billet to be initially
filled by M/Sgt Harold L. Callen, AF 17171955, USAF).
2. JUSTIFICATION: Filing, control, and research of
TALENT rneterial is growing to the extent that they can no
longer be properly handled only by the principal and assistant
TCO and TSO officers who are responsible for many other addi-
tional duties. Filing, control, and assistance in research
by two responsible, competent E-7, enlisted men will expedite
proper administration of the TALENT program in the JCS/OSD.
Assumption of some tasks formerly performed by the service
TCO's further aggravates the need for cleared administrative
assistants. M/Sgt Callen is fu~V clew-r~c and indoctrinated
for Category III COMINT.
