SUBJECT: Request for TALENT/AQUATONE Clearance

1. Authorization is requested to clear the position of the
Chief of the Product and Consumer Group in the Office of Production
(PROD-O5) for TALENT and AQUATONE.
2. As previously discussed some time ago, the incumbent of
this position is in a position to provide additional safeguards to
unwarranted dissemination of reflections of missions which do not
emanate from centers reflecting in the TALENT system. Further,
now that we are publishing items from System III as COMINT end-product
within the TALENT system, he has a definite need-to-know, since
relationships with end-product users are his business.
