1. Attached is a certification of Top secretclearance for
Kiss Rosalind Sawyer, Economic Defense Staff, Department of State,
dated 9 November 1954 from Director, Office of aecurity, Department
of State. Concurrence of your office is requested.
2. Attached also is the current membership list of the Economic
Defense Intelligence Committee. You will note the addition of
Brown and M. Gordon Tiger, and the withdrawal of Henry S. Bashkin
from EDIC membership. Certificates of clearance on Messrs.Edward M. Brown
and X. Gordon Tiger were forwarded to your office through St/I/RR
8 October 1954.
3. Mr. Niles B. Skavang, EDS/State member of an d hoc EDIC subgroup
has been requested to furnish security certification. A further effort
will be made to clarify the clearance status of Miss Worthing and Mr. Coster.
