SUBJECT : Support Liaison with other United States Government
Agencies
1. We are making a review of the extent, level, and character of support
liaison conducted with other United States Government Agencies to:
a. Insure the observance of proper security practices, and the
avoidance of undesirable duplication of liaison.
b. Ascertain that liaison is being conducted at proper levels and
in accordance with existing agreements with other Agencies.
c. Insure that there is proper internal coordination of liaison ef-
forts, and that this Agency?s interests as a whole are properly represented
in support agreements.
al. Provide for a directory of support liaison contact points.
2. In connection with this review it is requested that each of the addressees
provide this Office, on or before 26 May 1958, on the attached format, with a cur
rent list of Agency personnel engaged in support liaison activities and the names
of the individuals whom they contact in other United States Government Agencies.
It would also be appreciated if you would list any chronic problems which your

Office has encountered in connection with conducting liaison with other united
States Government Agencies, and outline any suggestions or recommendations
