a. The opinions to be published ;rill be these iich, in the
opinion of the General Counsel, are of interest generally because
they involve situations which my arise in a sir of dente
Periodically, General Counsel will review the opinions it has
rendered and select those vhhleh seem to meet the criteria of
general interest. Where the fact situation involves a W/P
employee or comment, ILD/P viii be consulted prior to issuance.
b. It vas agreed that it would be helpful to recipients to
alter the wed format by separating the st*t t Of "cats"
from the body of the opinions. the opinions w l be presented
in distinct sub-sections labelled "facts"& "applicable law or
regulations," "discussion," and "opinion.
c. Initially, distribution will be to administrative and
executive designees or dents at the oMce, araa divisican,
senior staff, or =/A functional division lev .. Seventy-five
copies will be released initially. Deteeeea 10 and 15 opinions
per m nth can be a xpeercted at first. The anticipated delay betwen
the writing of an opinion and its delivery to distributeeees is six
weeks, but the office requesting the opinion will receive it as
soon as it in written.
