SUBJECT: Army Request for TSS Training
On 8 July 'we received a call from Lt. Col. G. B. Woodworth of
The
the Combat Intelligence Division, G-2, Department of t e ArI
'~
purpose of his call was to determine the status of their request for
TSS training for one captain and two sergeants with the 45th MI
Company at Fort Holabird, Maryland. ailed TSS, to
find out what had occurred. said the matter had been referred
to their officer who maintains liaison with Camp Holabird, jnd because
of some confusion as to the identity of the traingys, the instruction
had not yet been given. I advised II? t iatyColonel Woodworth
had asked me if it would e all right if Colonel Conley of the CIC
School were to contact e directly. I told that if I received
a direct call from Colonel Conley, I would arrange a meeting with
the Colonel for myself and a TS S representative selected by
and that if, in the meantime, liaison man could make the
necessary arrangements to meet the Army requirement, to go ahead and
do so. I also advised that Colonel Woodworth had said that
the individuals for whom the training was originally requested had been
reassigned and it would now be necessary to select three different
individuals to receive the desired instruction.
